Obhur Creek Bridge is a long-awaited link between the two banks of the Creek, currently seen as the Northern boundary of the city. It will connect the new development around Kingdom Tower (the soon-to-be tallest building in the world, already under construction) to the rest of the city.
Located next to the King Abdulaziz International Airport, it will be a landmark visible by Jeddah visitors and will become a recognizable symbol of the city.
Obhur Creek Bridge is a concrete arch spanning over the main navigational channel of the Creek (up to 21m deep), leaving a 150m wide x 15m highclear route for marine vehicles underneath. It has a total length of 360m and will carry 8 lanes of traffic, the Metro Orange line and a feature walkway, offering a panoramic views of the coast and the Red Sea. It is well connected with the rest of the highway network (including Madinah Road, the main Northern Obhur Area), and makes North Obhur immediately accessible to the city.
